Horwood House Wedding | Emma & Tom
Horwood House Wedding venue is a stately home nestled in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside, and as a recommended Horwood House wedding photographer, it is a venue I always enjoy working at. So, when Emma & Tom got in touch earlier in the year, I was excited to meet them both and hear about their wedding plans.
Once the morning of their wedding rolled around, I met Emma at home with her bridesmaids getting ready. They celebrated the morning by popping some bubbles, and it was a really special morning to capture. Once ready, I captured some tears from Emma’s bridesmaids when she revealed herself in her intricate gown by Stunning Bridal
I met Tom nervously waiting for his bride at St Laurence Church in Winslow. After the ceremony, the couple took some time for themselves in the back of a vintage Rolls Royce.
It happened to be one of the hottest days of the year so far, so canapes and refreshments were very welcomed by the guests upon getting back to Horwood House.
Horwood House History
Although looking much older, Horwood House was built in 1911. Before, ‘Old Horwood’, a farmhouse used to sit on the land, before a farmer commissioned this Jacobean style house.

After the drinks reception, the guests were called through to Eyre suite whilst I took the couple around the Secret garden for couple photos. The gardens are truly a photographer’s dream with so many interesting little areas to make use of, Emma & Tom were keen to spend time making some awesome photos, and that we did!
As the evening approached, Emma & Tom cut their cake and then everyone enjoyed watching their choreographed first dance. As the party started, everyone joined in and partied into the night.
I hope you enjoy looking through the highlights of this Horwood House Wedding. If you’re planning to get married here, or elsewhere, please view my portfolio and get in touch.
Kind words from the couple:
“Scott has been amazing from start to finish. He made us feel so at ease when taking photos and we will cherish the incredible photos he took of our special day. He captured the feel of the day perfectly and little moments between guests which was lovely to see. Thank you so much Scott”
