Elmers Court Wedding

Katharine & Simon reached out to me earlier in the year about their wedding at Elmers Court Hotel. Although Katharine was from the US, she was excited to tell me she was a complete Anglophile and wanted a full-on British wedding spare of any American traditions! Her family and friends flew in from the US and Simons travelled from around the country for this amazing day.

I started off with Katherine and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite in the morning, whilst Simon had a second photographer with him and his groomsmen downstairs getting ready. The outside ceremony looked beautiful with stunning floral bouquets by the stone pillars.

The rain showers earlier in the day cleaned the air for what was one of the best sunsets I photographed at a wedding this year (there weren’t many this season!). I took Katharine and her bridesmaids out and had them all dancing together having fun, before I got the couple to spend some time together for an evening couple session. Simon of Hampshire Event DJs had everyone on the dancefloor in the evening, and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.
