The Bugle House Wedding | Lillie Owen — Scott Howard Photography

In June, I was lucky enough to be a part of Lillie & Owen’s wedding at The Bugle. Lillie got ready at home, and Owen at one of his Groomsmens apartments not far from the church. They held their ceremony at St. Mary’s church, before walking down to The Bugle for their reception.

In the evening, we were blessed with a beautiful golden hour. You don’t have to go far at the Bugle for stunning locations for your photos as the white pillars and styling of the venue itself lends itself as a beautiful background for photos.

Throughout the day, I used both digital and 35 mm film. Lillie and Owen are film photographers themselves, so wanted the analog style mixed in with their digital photos. The organic colours of the 35mm film look great and look forward to shooting more weddings on film going forward.
