Marbella Wedding | Holly & Jesal

The evening before Holly & Jesal’s wedding, I met them both at the villa for a pre-wedding engagement shoot. It was good to meet the couple before their wedding to confirm details and timings, and also to spend time creating beautiful couple photos without the time restrictions of the wedding day. I love the photos of them both cooking the food for the paella party they held for their guests that evening.

On the morning of the wedding, I met Holly and her Bridesmaids preparing in one of the rooms. There was lots of nice window light so it was perfect for morning photos. Once ready, Holly looked stunning in her dress, as did her bridesmaids. I also visited Jesal and the guys getting ready in the villa, the rich Spanish colours in the villa worked really well for groom portraits. Jesal was wearing a pale pink suit, which looked amazing.

The couple styled the ceremony set up themselves, and it looked breathtaking with the Marbella mountains in the background. Shortly after the ceremony, we had a lot of fun taking the family formals. The sun was just about to hide behind the mountains, so I took the couple for a short couple session and made some beautiful couple portraits.

Holly & Jesal also styled their wedding breakfast set up. The Mediterranean colours and theme tied in so well together with the venue. As it got darker, the candles and string lights made for an intimate atmosphere whilst the speeches were well underway. Between the tables was a pool, so I had to make sure not to fall in moving around for photos!

It wasn’t long before the suits came off (or didn’t for the father of the bride!) and everyone was having a blast in the pool. I caught Holly and Jesal jumping in their suit and Dress, an awesome photo that really tells the story of such a fun day, and certainly one that I’ll remember.
