The Great Barn Devon Wedding | Annie & Alex

Capturing the beauty and charm of Annie & Alex’s wedding at The Great Barn Devon was an absolute dream. Nestled in the Devon countryside, the venue boasts breathtaking views of rolling hills and lush greenery. The Great Barn is a charming 15th-century barn that’s been restored to perfection, complete with wooden beams and a high vaulted ceiling that gives it a warm and rustic vibe.

In the morning I met Annie and the girls at ‘Place’, the charming cottage at the venue. The abundance of natural light made for some lovely detail shots. Alex was getting ready at ‘St Nectan’, another little cottage at the venue, and captured the boys all preparing too.

I loved how the ceremony was decorated with candles, and beautiful floral arrangements, it created the perfect atmosphere. The dramatic lighting inside the barn is quite something and looks great in photos. After the ceremony, guests headed outside to the gardens to sip on drinks and munch on canapes in the beautiful gardens.

When it was time for the breakfast, everyone headed back inside the barn, where long tables were set up for a rustic banquet. The decor was wildflowers and greenery, which really added to the natural, organic vibe. After this, I snuck off with the couple for some intimate portraits, taking advantage of the last light around the gardens of the venue.
